In Character
PHYSICAL AFFECTION
HuggingKissingTouchingHand-holding

Ed can be pretty casually affectionate with people he knows well, but in terms of romantic affection, he won't be accepting any since he considers himself a taken man. He's a hugger with his friends, though.

PHYSICAL VIOLENCE
FightingInjuryMaimingKilling

Ed's not as quick to violence these days, but he's still who he is and he's good with a sword and a gun. He's only human, though, albeit a pretty sturdy one.

RELATIONSHIPS
SexFlirtingRomance

Ed is head over heels for Stede, so he won't be romancing or looking for sex with anyone else. Where there isn't a Stede available, it'll take him a while before he feels like he can or should move on. You're free to flirt with him, but he'll only reciprocate with other men and only lightly at that - nothing serious. Ed is very much not interested in women.

PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION
Mind readingMind control

It'll freak him out, but he's an open book. Ask first for mind control stuff.
Content Warnings & Opt Out
Serious themes with Ed include suicide, suicide ideation, and domestic violence (in his past, with his mother and father). It's not likely to come up in conversation, but Ed's thoughts do sometimes turn towards those subjects. The canon also involves a good amount of pirate violence and maiming, some of which is treated with black humour or as comedy.
