abraxas // THE INN.

The Inn

Ed's Inn & Tavern & Fine Gift Shop is a cozy inn that sits on a side road between the Primary and Secondary settlements. It's a little rundown, but it's mostly fixed up. The decor is haphazard, with no rhyme or reason, but there's obviously been a lot of thought put into the resulting chaos. Lots of bits and bobs common to Solvunn like antler decorations, bone charms, seashells, and furs.

Hours are totally inconsistent.
Prices per night are whatever you have on you. Bartering acceptable.

The front desk has a little bell. You must ring the bell. Even if the innkeeper sees you, he will not attend to you unless you ring the bell.

There's also a kitchen where the food and drinks are actually pretty good (thanks to the chef and barkeep!) and an outdoor gift "shop" (it's just a stand) where the service is, uh...well, you can see for yourself. None of the staff are really getting paid. Please tip generously.

NOTICE: Regrettably, Edward Teach, the original innkeeper, is now on permanent holiday. Management of the inn has been transferred to his loyal staff.

Amenities
Rooms are furnished with mismatched bedding and curtains, though there seems to be a theme of lavender wherever possible. Each room has fresh flowers in them, gathered from the wilds or given by Wanda. Sometimes there's a random fruit basket of whatever's available from the orchards.

Furniture is all fairly nice. Most of it was built by Arthur Hastings, so the make and quality is good. A few things that Arthur didn't build like the counter and larger shelves are on the worn and rickety side.

Guests must sign in and out of the guest book. An assortment of locals will stay at the inn every so often solely to support a Summoned business regardless of its quality. Ed does not realize this is the case; he just thinks his inn is pretty successful.
Gift Shop

The gift shop is a stand set up next to the building. It sells all kinds of knickknacks. A lot of it is weird and creepy. Some of it might be haunted. No guarantees. You can also find common items given by locals as offerings such as jars of pickled fish, colourful stones, bouquets of wildflowers, and bone wreaths.

Prices are set by the enterprising store manager. You can try to barter with him if you really want. Wares can also be exchanged or donated. If you want to get something off your hands, Ed will take it.
